An elastic resistance device that provides more stability and control for dogs with hind limb weakness, lack of coordination, and decreased proprioception.
About the Bands
The first and only elastic resistance device in veterinary medicine.
When used as an assistive device, the bands help dogs walk and turn — assisting the forward movement of the feet and preventing knuckling. With more stability and control, dogs get much more benefit out of exercise, whether at home or in your veterinary clinic.
The Biko PR Bands work well as a sole physiotherapeutic modality, and in conjunction with the underwater treadmill, cavalettis, peanut exercise balls, balance boards, and wheelchairs.
The bands come in a color-coded system of progressive resistance — yellow (light), red (medium), and green (strong). They stretch slightly as the dog walks, assisting forward movement and protecting feet from knuckling under.

Not intended for
- Paralyzed dogs
- Dogs with acute painful conditions
- Acute cruciate ligament tear
- Broken bones
- No motor function in one or more limbs
- Severe weakness requiring lifting to walk
- Severe spasm or increased tone in hind limbs
